Objectives

Serve as an advocate in Egypt and Ethiopia for members’ interests.
Provide Access And Networking (through trade missions, business development services, conferences, and seminars in both countries) as well as Insight (through publications and industry sector reports) to members and non-member companies that want to pursue specific business activities in Egypt and/or Ethiopia.
Promote substantive interaction between members and leading policymakers in Egypt and Ethiopia.
Represent members’ views to Egyptian and Ethiopian policy makers and act as a conduit between governments and the business community.
Deliver timely information to members and facilitate members’ input into policy formulation and program development.
Advance members’ policy priorities through task forces, working groups, coalitions, and joint programs with government and private sector stakeholders.
Strengthening and further cultivating the vital strategic and commercial relationship between Egypt and Ethiopia, which is fundamentally important to the mutual interest.
Facilitate mutually beneficial opportunities and Sustaining member corporations, businesses, government entities, institutions and other organizations.
Develop and maintain a high level of support for the Council’s activities from the Egyptian and Ethiopian governments and collaborate in relevant government-initiated programs.
